Adult supervision is critical when jewelry and children are involved.  Jewelry purchased for children under the age of three are recommended for keepsake gifts.  They should be worn for special occassions such as photos, baptisms, Christenings, birthdays, etc., and tucked away as heirloom keepsakes.  Children over the age of three still require adult supervision when wearing jewelry.
